A board certified general surgeon and a certified wound surgeon, Dale Danneker, MD, FACS, CWS, medical director, has specialized in wound care since 2001 and practiced at Mount Nittany Medical Center from 1977–1998 before joining the Mayo Clinic as a Mayo Health System surgeon in Albert Lea, MN. In addition, Dr. Danneker is a member of the American Medical Association, Minnesota Medical Society, Centre County Medical Society, a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Wound Healing Society, and the Association for Advanced Wound Care.
